Steve is supported by Liz in accounts, Dave our car workshop manager and fully Honda trained technician, Joe our BMW expert, Jason, Rob, Pete and Nathan in the 6 bay workshop. Dave Bull is a fully trained Honda technician and expert in both German and Japanese cars. We sell a lot of Honda s2000’s, Subaru Imprezza’s (WRX & STi), Mazda MX 5 and standard Japanese and German cars and Dave prepares all these cars. Steve Roest and the Barnside team have worked on modern cars as well as specialising in classic cars such as Fiat 124 spider, Fiat X1/9, Barchetta, Mazda MX 5, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, as well as the great British cars like FORD, MGB and Midgets.

SERVICING:

New components fitted to your vehicle are supplied with a minimum 12 month warranty. If you supply your own parts we provide no warranty on the item you supply nor cover any labour cost to change a faulty component that was not supplied by us.

STEERING AND SUSPENSION:

When replacing steering and suspension components we recommend your wheel alignment be checked and reset if necessary which costs £69. Changing steering and suspension components can cause your wheel alignment to change, which may result in excessive or uneven tyre wear.

WHEEL RE CHECKING IF WHEELS HAVE BEEN REMOVED DURING SERVICE, REPAIR AND/OR TYRE CHANGE:

When servicing your car, making repairs and/or replacing tyres, we may need to remove and then refit the wheels of your car. When refitting wheels we always use tools which tighten nuts/bolts to the manufacturers specification. However it is possible for wheels to loosen, though very rare it can happen due to invisibly worn threads on nuts/bolts, heat contraction/expansion and corrosion or dirt on the faces of components that may not be visible. For this reason we always strongly recommend that wheels are ‘re torqued’ after 50-100 miles following removal and refitting. We offer this service free of charge and without the need to book in, we are always happy to do this. Please just ask if you have any questions or concerns.

USED CAR WARRANTIES:

Please ask about warranties on our used car sales. At a minimum you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act for 6 months when buying a used car from us. If a vehicle is over 7 years old and/or has covered over 100,000 miles then we may limit some items from coverage and we will provide specific information about this upon request and in writing. Items that are not covered by a warranty are items such as windscreen chips, bodywork scratches and tyre damage that have occurred after you take ownership of the vehicle.

All our cars will be HPi clear, never subject to a ‘write off’ insurance claim and be free of outstanding finance.
