WE’LL MAKE SURE YOUR TYRES ARE ROADWORTHY

The law requires your vehicle to be fitted with the correct type and size of tyre for the vehicle type you are driving and for the purpose it is being used. There are also laws in place to govern all aspects of your tyres condition; most important of these is the minimum tread depth. The legal limit for minimum depth of the tread on your tyres is 1.6 millimetres, across the central ¾ of the tread going around the complete circumference of the tyre.

CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: Tyre Replacement/Fitting

We take every care when replacing/fitting tyres. But please note that minor damage and scratching is possible and TPMS sensors may break during tyre removal.

We photograph wheel condition before commencing a tyre fitment, but if wheels are:

already damaged
lacquer is already peeling
newly refurbished but not to a high standard (i.e. not powder coated, etched and keyed before painting)

then lift of paint or lacquer is likely.

We will not be held responsible for TPMS breakage nor minor damage in line with our conditions above.

If you are unsure then please ask us before having new tyres fitted.

Tyre wear and damage can affect performance, handling, economy and of course safety. 2 or 4 wheel laser alignment (tracking) should be checked regularly to ensure the steering and wheel geometry are correctly set.
